The St. Clare Knights of Columbus and their families had their Christmas Social at Moody Gardens on Friday, December 20, 2024. The evening started with a delicious meal followed by a one-hour Christmas Show. After the show, attendees were invited to experience the wonderful Festival of Lights. The Show included high-energy blends of magic and musical theater with thrilling illusions, breathtaking acrobatics and dazzling performances.
St. Clare Knights Support Parish Mass & Meal
The St. Clare Knights of Columbus supported the December 14th Mass and Meal event by cooking barbeque brisket, ribs, chicken, beans, potato salad, and coleslaw. The event was held after the 4:30 Saturday evening mass and over 120 meals were served.
2024 St Clare Knights Volunteer at Habitat for Humanity
The St. Clare Knights of Columbus Council volunteered at Habitat for Humanity on Friday, December 13, 2024 as part of an open build project. Due to the popularity of these open build projects, our number of Council participants was limited to 5 members. We will continue to participate in future Habitat for Humanity events; if you have an interest, please contact the Council.
St. Clare Knights Volunteer at Houston Food Bank – Dec 2024
The St. Clare Knights of Columbus and Parish members teamed up to volunteer at the Houston Food Bank on December 7, 2024. This was very productive day in preparing meals for seniors. The group completed 15 pallets, 675 boxes, 20,250 lbs, for a total of 16,875 meals. Great Job everyone !
2024 St Clare Knights Receive Star Council Award

2024 Knight of the Quarter – 3rd Quarter
Congratulations to Mike Proffitt who was named Knight of the Quarter for the 3rd Quarter of 2024. Mike serves as the Knights Emergency Coordinator and was recognized for his outstanding efforts in assisting Brother Knights, their families, and St. Clare Parishioners during the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl.
2024 November Parish Fellowship Breakfast
The St. Clare Knights of Columbus and their spouses hosted a Parish Fellowship Breakfast on Sunday, Nov 10, 2024, after the 9 am mass. The breakfast is scheduled every other month and the Knights begin serving at 9:30 am. Plan to stop for future events after the 9:00 am Mass, or come prior to 11:00 am Mass. Enjoy visiting with family and friends while having a relaxing breakfast. The Knights are happy to serve you, while you enjoy a great meal!
2024 Past Grand Knight Dinner
The Past Grand Knight Dinner was held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at Tommy’s Seafood Restaurant. Past Grand Knight Bill Hoff was honored for his service as Grand Knight for his third term during the 2023-24 fraternal year. Current Grand Knight Jim Hickok summarized Bill’s many accomplishments during his tenures.
2024 Knights Donate to School Tuition Assistance Program

2024 St Clare Council Welcomes New Knights
On October 26, 2024, the St Clare Knights of Columbus held an Exemplification of Charity, Unity, and Fraternity to welcome new members to the Council. These new members (front row left to right) are Brian O’Neal, Dr. Thomas Thomas, Victor Martinez, and Paul Miller. The ceremony was conducted by Brothers Frank Standa, John Soisson, Gordon Ducote, Pat Hall, and Deacon Bob Herbert as clergy. After the ceremony, Grand Knight Jim Hickok invited family and friends to a lunch social.
