2025 Knights of Columbus Council 9708 Scholarship Applications

The St. Clare Knights of Columbus Council #9708 invite our graduating class of 2025 high school seniors to apply for the 2025-26 academic year scholarship using the links below:

  • Multiple scholarships will be given; the highest award is $2,500.
  • These are merit-based scholarships, good toward the student’s first year of any post-secondary education.
  • The student must attend and be a registered member of St. Clare of Assisi parish.
  • Applications are due on Friday, March 28, 2025 no later than 4:30 p.m.

Please download the file before starting to edit, then print and sign on both signature lines (Application and Video/Photography Consent). Either version can be printed and filled by hand. 2025 Clergy Appreciation Night

The St. Clare Knights of Columbus and the St. Clare Deacons and their wives attended the 41st Annual Clergy Appreciation Night on Friday, January 24, 2025.  The event is hosted by the Knights of Columbus Galveston Houston Chapter.  Each year we welcome the opportunity to express our thanks, respect, and solidarity with our Cardinal, Archbishop, Bishops, Priests, Deacons, and Religious Vocations.  Clergy Appreciation Night provides an opportunity to honor all clergy: Priests, Deacons, brothers, and nuns in the Galveston Houston Archdiocese.

2023-24 Lone Star Award for Excellence with Distinction

Congratulations to the St. Clare Knights of Columbus on receiving the prestigious Lone Star Award for Excellence With Distinction for the last fraternal year. This is the highest Award in Texas for Operational Excellence.  District Deputy, Joe Kramer presented the Award to the Council at their Membership Meeting on Thursday, January 9, 2024. Past Grand Knight Bill Hoff and Financial Secretary Mark Kradzinski accepted the award on behalf of the Council.  Congratulations to everyone for the tireless work on our service programs and charitable work. It is our members and our spouses, that keep our Council vibrant and alive. Congratulations everyone!
