2025 Consecration to the Holy Family-Strengthen Family Spirituality

On December 28th, the Feast Day of the Holy Family, approximately a dozen families gathered in a spiritual dedication to be examples of God’s love by entrusting themselves to Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.

During the introduction, Sandra Trevino (Director of Intergenerational Faith Formation) emphasized the importance of family spirituality and the significance of following the Holy Family’s example. Deacon Bob offered a blessing to the families. Following this blessing, the families prayed the KoC’s Supreme Chaplain’s intercessory prayer. Through this prayer, the families sought protection and guidance to live daily lives modeled on the love, obedience, devotion, and humility demonstrated by the Holy Family.

Following the event, the Knights of Columbus provided lunch to the participating families. Planning of this event was a collaborative effort that engaged Father Vincent, KoC, St. Clare school, youth ministry and the parish staff. Each group provided support and advertisement to ensure broad participation.
